De Verband – Pro Agri
De Verband is a cooperative enterprise consisting a companion of its agriculture. Ottevanger Milling Engineers built a turn-key conventional plant with a capacity of 80.000 tonnes per year in 2 shifts. The plant can be expanded to 120.000 tonnes per year.
Raiffeisen Vital Mischfutter
Raiffeisen Vital Mischfutter, located in Hamm/Germany, built a feed mill for the production of cattle and pig feed. The conventional compound feed plant has a production capacity of 100.000 tonnes of feed per year.
Aveve Aalter
Ottevanger Milling Engineers built for AVEVE Aalter a new bulkoutloading station with 60 silos with a content of 35 m3 each. Outloading is provided with; 5 movable weighers, 1 movable and weighing PM6000 mixer, 7 movable hoppers, 6 double contrasets and 2 single contrasets. Bulkoutloading is provided with dedicated conveying lines and mixing line for medicated feed.

AVEVE Animal Nutrition applies a highly developed and strict HACCP-based quality scheme. The Aalter and Merksem production facilities are GMP-certified according to the Belgian model. AVEVE Animal Nutrition supplies feeds which meet the strictest specifications of various quality labels e.g. IKM, Meritus and Certus. At the AVEVE Test Station in Poppel, new feeds are submitted to practical tests. The ‘Feed & Food Quality’ lab (FFQ) controls incoming raw materials and outgoing products.
Within the framework of environmental conservation, AVEVE Animal Nutrition also provides nutrient-low feeds as well as manure management and processing solutions and advice on environment-friendly stalls and animal welfare.
Fane Valley Group
With its headquarters located in Armagh City (Northern Ireland) the farmer owned Co-operative is now one of Ireland’s most progressive agri-food businesses, with interests in red meats, porridge oats and breakfast cereal, feed compounding, agricultural supplies and renewable energy, operating across Europe.
Fane Valley Co-operative was formed in 1903, and over 100 years later still remains 100% farmer owned by 1800 shareholders. The feed mill produces 160,00 tonnes of which is approximately 55 per cent ruminant, 30 per cent poultry feed and 15 per cent pig feed.
A number of contractors were approached by Fane Valley to lead the mill building project and eventually whittled down to two, of which Ottevanger of Holland was finally selected based on the impressiveness of the plants they had built, their approach and the fact that they were specialists in feed projects. On-site for 13 months, the project was completed on budget and ahead of schedule.
